What Is The CVS Tree

The CVS Tree is a repository of code maintained under version controll by the Concurrent Versioning System. It allows for group access to a single repository of code, maintaining code integrity. It enforces only one person accessing a single code file as well as allowing previous versions of code the be returned to. It also allows branching of the code and snapshots at points of time to be taken.
